1. IS THE LIV4MOR DETOX CLEANSE FOR ME?

Before beginning the Liv4Mor Cleanse Program, please make sure that you:

  1. Are 18 years or older

  2. Are not pregnant or nursing

  3. Consult your doctor or health care practitioner if you have: 

    • An eating disorder

    • Type I or Type II diabetes

    • Kidney, gallbladder or liver disease

    • Discomfort in the upper or lower left abdominal area

2.  WHY DO A CLEANSE? 

Like the oil filter of a car, toxins build up in your liver, congesting and preventing it from functioning optimally.  Doing a cleanse unburdens, enhances and opens the detoxification pathways in your liver. 

3.  WHAT FOODS ARE NOT ALLOWED?

While on the cleanse, you will be gluten, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, coffee, dairy, soy and fish free.  It's important to eat good-quality meats, fruits, vegetables, greens and oils like coconut and olive.  You can find the full breakdown in our Cleanse Manual.

4. WHY IS FISH NOT ALLOWED?

We recommend that you avoid eating fish.  Many carry high metal toxins like mercury.

5.  WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS IN THE CLEANSE?

6.  WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO FAST THE FIRST TWO DAYS?

No problem.  If you have any issues with fasting the first two days, you can eat steamed vegetables or drink light broth.  Eating light will still allow your system to rest in preparation for the remainder of the cleanse.  You must still avoid all coffee, dairy, alcohol, sugar, gluten, and fish.

7.  AM I GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT ON THE CLEANSE?

Liv4Mor is not a weight loss program.  That said, by removing coffee, gluten, sugar, alcohol, and dairy for a period of two weeks, most people are likely to lose weight in a natural, steady way. 

8.  HOW CAN I EXPECT TO FEEL WHILE ON THE CLEANSE?

You may experience temporary unpleasant symptoms such as headaches, achiness, sluggishness, nausea, and changes in your stool. The symptoms should pass within the first few days, leaving you feeling lighter and more energized.  Remember to drink plenty of water to help flush out your system. 

9.  WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M TRAVELING OR GO OUT TO DINNER?

Do your best to stay as close to the plan as possible.  If you need to eat out, call ahead of time and ensure the restaurant is able/willing to accommodate your needs with a simple meal. 

10.  HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEANSE?

We suggest cleansing at least twice a year, although the frequency may vary depending on your individual needs.

11.  AM I ABLE TO GO ON THE CLEANSE IF I AM ON MEDICATION?

It's important that you consult with a qualified physician before going on any new health regime.  You should not go on the cleanse if you are pregnant or nursing or under 18 years of age.

12.  CAN I EXERCISE WHILE ON THE CLEANSE?

The first couple of days you should try to rest, with only light exercise - try walking, swimming, stretching, or yoga.  You can increase your exercise after those first days, integrating more aerobic exercise that will increase lymphatic circulation, which enables the toxins to leave your system.  Remember, your body's energy will be focused on detoxing itself, so allow yourself to rest if need be.

13.  WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE CLEANSE?

The purpose of the cleanse is to kickstart your system and establish a new way of eating that is healthy and balanced.  Try to eat as clean as possible after the cleanse and slowly introduce more varied foods into your diet.  We recommend that you take a few natural supplements, such as a multivitamin, essential fatty acid (OMEGA 3s), and a probiotic to aid in digestion health.

14.  CAN I DRINK COFFEE AND ALCOHOL WHEN I AM DONE WITH THE CLEANSE?

We encourage you to continue eating clean after finishing the cleanse.  However, if you want to reintroduce coffee or alcohol into your diet, we suggest that you do so slowly and gradually.

15.  DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO PREP FOR THE CLEANSE?  

Before starting the cleanse, some people gradually eliminate foods from their diet while ethers prefer to go cold turkey.  The decision is yours.  We encourage a week of pre-cleanse preparation to make the transition to fasting and eating clean less jarring.  For a sample schedule, click here.

16.  IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO AID IN MY CLEANSING PROCESS?

Yes! We recommend taking a warm Epsom salt bath at least two times per week and gently using a bath brush over your body—this will help stimulate the lymphatic system in flushing out toxins.
